Bob enjoys racing because it's fun. It's fun to drive any racing boat. 

It's particularly fun and satisfying to solve the "problem" of trying to go faster.

Some of Bobs accomplishments are 23 National Championships (closed course and hi-point).

 104 national and world speed records (competition and kilo) since 1971 including the world outboard speed record of 176.5 mph. 

Six time inductee into APBA Hall of Champions. 

Two times awarded UIM Gold Metal for Sport for outstanding performance. 

Winner, with two French co-drivers, of the 24 Hours of Rouen in 1988.
