Our latest runabout for the Sidewinder A, Mercury 15 or Evinrude & Johnson 15-A, A Stock engines. Competition speeds are over 50 m.p.h. Minimum age for A.P.B.A. competition is 14. This is an ideal entry class for drivers up to 165 lbs. The boat is ideal for the A.P.B.A. Junior Runabout class, for drivers 9 to 15 years old, using the J carburetor restrictor plate with the 15 engine. "Jackal" dominated the racing in A Stock Runabout at both Sutherlin Oregon and Pleasanton California last season. This year J. Michael Kelly won the APBA National Championship with the "Jackal" Length 10', bottom width 36".

"Gypsy Joe" Class A-B Runabout

This boat can be built for several runabout classes from Junior Runabout to B Mod Runabout. The boat is designed turn as a "roll up" with a center fin or can be equipped with a side fin for flat turning. The boat length and how the bottom is set-up will determine the class use of the boat. The length can range from 10' to 11' and the bottom width 28" to 33". The kit can be ordered as frames only or with all stringer and other framing parts. This design has won numerous national championships and set many records.

"Hungry Gipo" Class C Runabout
The C Runabout is designed for the Yamato 102 and 302 pari-mutuel racing engine from Japan in stock and modified forms. This boat has won the A.P.B.A. national championships in C Stock Runabout and C Modified Runabout. It also hold A.P.B.A. records in both classes. The Yamato 302 can also be purchased with the kit.
